North Central Missouri Children's Advocacy Center

For their yearly service project, LifeFlight Eagle flight crew and pilots donated blankets and stuffed animals to the North Central Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center.  Children that come to the Advocacy Center for a forensic interview are permitted to choose a stuffed animal before leaving the Center that helps act as a stress reliever on their journey of next steps.  For the older children and those that are unable to return home, a blanket can be such a welcome comfort.  Pictured are Rob Evans, representing Trenton based Eagle One; his three young helpers; and Child Advocate, DeAn Witt.  Thank you, LifeFlight Eagle for your generosity! 

The KCP&L Foundation made a $500 donation to the Children’s Advocacy Center to assist in supporting Center services to children reported to have been abused.  KCP&L has been a long-time supporter of the Children’s Advocacy Center.
