North Central Missouri Children's Advocacy Center

April is Child Abuse Prevention, Education and Awareness month.  Blue ribons are often worn to remind and make people aware of child abuse issues.  In April of every year, Advocacy Centers all across the state make an effort to bring about this awareness.

The North Central Missouri Children's Advocacy Center is one of 23 Centers in the state of Missouri.  This year, the Center is offering for purchase or by order, blue t-shirts indicating support for the Advocacy Center at a price of $10-$12, depending on size.  April 17 is the target date to wear blue across the state.  Anyone interested in participating in this endeavor, may contact the Center between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at 660-359-2874.  Orders must be placed by April 1, 2009.

ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT ABUSED CHILDREN IN THE NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI AREA.
